Most people who become addicted to drugs come from a good environment, but will place themselves in a different environment that causes the addiction to happen. Many addictions happen with peer pressure, and experimenting with particular drugs to avoid problems in life or responsibilities. As a parent, it can be very difficult to watch a child become addicted to drugs and struggle with an addiction. An addict makes a choice to use drugs, and the reasons why are their own until they receive some type of treatment or help for their addiction.
