Aetna health insurance has open-access and co-pay only with different high-deductible health insurance plans.  These plans can help you pay for drug rehab but the costs involved with it will vary.  Through the Aetna website, you can view coverage details and contact an insurance representative to ensure the program is covered.  Aetna is active in all 50 states with over 46 million members.  There are many subsidiaries of Aetna insurance you may have access to.  This includes ActiveHealth Management, Aetna Student Health, Medicity, and many others.

An open-access plan allows the client to choose the doctor and no referral is needed.  The client will not need a primary care physician with this type of plan.  The co-pay plan guarantees your costs after you pay the deductible.  Once you pay your deductible at the drug rehab center the cost for the treatment will be guaranteed.  A high deductible plan offers preventative care services before the deductible is met.  Any plan members can log on to the member website to view their plans and what options they have.

Aetna's navigator is an online program that helps you to view your coverage details, make claims, and search for providers.  For drug addiction problems, members are given access to counselors, therapists, and social workers, along with primary care doctors.  The information you access through the online portal will help determine who you will be paying for treatment.
