It can be hard to always spot if your loved one is addicted to Vicodin. Many families or friends will not notice until the addiction has a complete hold of the person. There are some red flags to watch out for. Most prescription drug users will shop for doctors or healthcare providers. They may have more of the medication without a prescription. The individual may be going through the Vicodin at an alarming rate. Once there is a tolerance for the drug the addict will require more of it to feel the same effects.

The user may display signs of feeling uncomfortable without the drug and stating they need it to function. If they don't have it, they will experience withdrawal symptoms that can be quite painful. Anyone addicted to drugs will lose sight of their priorities and other responsibilities. Vicodin addiction can quickly spiral out of control. If family and friends are unable to get the right help they need an addiction that will become worse and difficult to treat.
